Our Measurement Approach by Window Style
- Windows (Style 1A): Our most popular configuration, featuring a half-circle design. For these, we measure horizontally from one side to the other at the transition point where the curve meets the rectangular window below or the window sill.
- Shallow Arc (Style 2A): These windows have a vertical center measurement that is less than half of the horizontal distance. We use the same horizontal measurement technique, capturing the widest point where the curve transitions.
- Extended Vertical Configuration (Style 2B): This complex style combines the shallow arc with additional vertical edges. We take three separate measurements to ensure complete accuracy.
Critical Measurement Considerations
Tolerance for Imperfections
We subtract 3/8 inch from the radius measurement on all styles. This accounts for any imperfections in the surrounding drywall or installation, ensuring a perfect fit.
